【About 917K [1971]】
■ 917, which appeared in the 1969 prototype car race scene, aerodynamics were improved by John · Wire · Automotive · Engineering, which was entrusted with race activities from Works in 1970, Reborn as 917 K of tail. The debut 917 K swept through each endurance race by overwhelming speed, won the international manufacturer's championship championship, and also won the overall victory in the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
Several refinements were made at the time of the 1971 season, at 917 K which restricted the endurance race scene of 1970. Changes in appearance, such as installing vertical fins in the rear cowl and installing an induction pod in the engine cover, were tried by each team. And the 1971 model won the Le Mans following the previous year, and it will show its strength to rivalry. I made this 917K [1971] type full-detail kit on 1/12 scale.

 

【Kit Outline】
■ Multi-material kit using white metal, urethane resin, metal scraped material, etching parts, PVC vacuum, rubber tire, decal, various codes.

■ The front bonnet cover is detachable, the rear cowl and door can be opened and closed, and you can see the internal structure even after completion.

■ 917K Cowl shape different from the 1970 model and internal frame were reproduced.

■ Glass surface mold was also reproduced Headlight lenses are made of clear resin.

■ Maker logo printed rubber tire.

 

【Variation】 K609 ● Ver. A: 1971 LM 24hours Winner [Martini International Racing Team] # 22 H. Marko / G. Lennep · Modeled the Martini team machine that won the victory at LM 24hours Race in 1971. The number of louvers at the upper part of the front cowl increased from the previous year model, modeled the specification that the vertical fin was provided at the rear cowl.
