The Dornier Do 22 was a German seaplane developed in the 1930s. Despite its good performance, it was built only in a small number and exclusively for the export market. This type was operated in World War II in Greece, Yugoslavia and Finland. The first production model, known as Do 22 / See, which was equipped with floats, did not fly until 15 July 1938. Luftwaffe was not interested in the aircraft, so they were sold to Yugoslavia, Greece and Latvia.
