NEW FROM trumpeter German battleship Bismarck 05358 1/350

product description:
The battleship Bismarck was a German battleship that was world-famous in World War II. The ship started in 1936 and entered service in August 1940, with a full-load displacement of more than 50,000 tons, making it the largest battleship in the world at that time.

The Bismarck was a symbol of the Nazi German navy at that time. The ship was well-equipped and well-protected. It was nicknamed “Unsinkable Sea Fortress”, but it was sunk after performing its first combat mission.

During the battle in the Danish Strait, Bismarck sank the battleship cruiser Hood, known as the pride of the British Royal Navy, less than ten minutes after the war. However, the torpedo launched by the swordfish torpedo bomber taken off by the Royal Ark carrier hit the Bismarck, causing the rudder of the Bismarck to be stuck and unable to control the normal navigation direction. The next morning, Bismarck was finally surrounded by the British fleet. After nearly two hours of violent attack, Bismarck eventually sank in the Atlantic Ocean.
